Swedish drinking song championships
Do you like drinking songs? Do you want to represent Sweden in the World Championships in newly written drinking songs?
Then you should continue reading!
Museum of Spirits in Stockholm challenges students at KTH to a competition in newly written drinking songs.
Write a “snapsvisa” – drinking song, or a maximum of three songs. The best song from KTH will get a place in the final of the Swedish Championship in newly written drinking songs at Museum of Spirits on Saturday, October 15. In addition, the finalist will receive a gift of 10 000. Even the songs that come in second and third place will receive 5000 and 2500 SEK. The gifts are a donation from a private individual to increase the interest in drinking songs of students at KTH. Even the best chapter will be rewarded.
If the song makes it among the top five, out of eleven contributions, it will represent Sweden in the World Championships in drinking songs in Helsinki on November 19.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The text of the song should not have been published before.
The melody may be well known, but do not forget to specify it!
