iGEM is recruiting

iGEM is one of the world’s biggest science competitions for students. Teams combine biology and engineering to design genetically engineered systems that can solve societal problems. Now you can be part of one of the most exciting and challenging student competitions out there!

However, iGEM is more than just lab work. Students must plan, finance, realize and communicate their project from start to finish. Teams are also multidisciplinary and made up of everything from of biologists, doctors and chemists to engineers, programmers, physicists and even designers and philosophers!
